Immunofixation (Serum)

This type of test is used to detect abnormal IgG antibodies in the blood, known as monoclonal antibodies which are found in myeloma or other conditions that lead to over production of these abnormal immunoglobulins. Serum electrophoresis is a similar type of test that will identify the amount of any of these monoclonal antibodies identified.

This private blood analysis for Immunofixation is accessible at all thirty one private hospital locations around the UK.

Included in each test request for Immunofixation are a Doctors Referral, all Phlebotomy fees (your blood taken at a Private Hospital), all laboratory fees and includes our GP comments.
