Sexual Health Blood Analysis

Sexual Health Blood Analysis

Whether you are concerned about a past encounter, or a recent set of symptoms, we can help - a small blood sample or urine or self-collected swab sample can give you valuable insight into past or present Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) you may have contracted. Testing for HIV and Hepatitis B and C, and Syphilis (infections which can have log term serious consequences if not detected) has never been more straightforward - a blood sample will contain all the information needed by the laboratory to establish whether you have had any of these infections in the past, and whether any follow up action is still desirable. Other more common infections (gonorrhoea, chlamydia or herpes) if currently active can also be diagnosed from a urine or swab sample, self-collected in seconds.

All positive results are of course treated in the strictest confidence. Anyone requiring further investigation or treatment will always be guided to the experts to be found at your local genitourinary medicine (GU clinic).

If you have concerns, don't delay - the earlier you start treatment for any sexually transmitted infection, the better - and needless to say your risk of harming anyone else inadvertently is reduced. If (as the great majority turn out to be) you have negative results think how relieved you will be once you have removed that nagging anxiety!

Our blood tests are undertaken in the strictest confidence, and all results are sent to only the email address you provide to us upon placing your order.
